Just two blocks from the Colonial Williamsburg Historic District, our inn is a short walk to museums, shopping, restaurants, The College of William & Mary, and the Williamsburg Train Station. Free private parking is available on-site.
Before your arrival, we’ll send you a unique code that provides access to both the building and your room. This code will remain active for the duration of your stay.
Check-in begins after 3:00 PM. Please be mindful of noise levels if you arrive after 9:00 PM to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
Check-out is before 11:00 AM. There’s no need to contact the innkeeper unless you have questions or need assistance.
We are a small, self-service hotel offering fully refurbished rooms in a historic landmark of Colonial Williamsburg. Our staff is available via email or text from 9 AM to 5 PM daily, and our innkeepers may occasionally be on-site during weekdays. For emergencies, we provide a 24-hour phone line, though it may not be answered until the morning.
We offer self-service coffee and tea in the parlor, available 24/7. While breakfast and room service are not available, we are just a short walk from excellent restaurants like Blue Talon and Aromas, both of which serve breakfast.
Yes, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
You’ll receive a full refund of your deposit if you cancel 7 days or more before your check-in date. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, the deposit is non-refundable.
Due to the intimate nature of our inn, we do not allow children under the age of four.
Unfortunately, due to the historic nature of the building, handicap accessibility is limited to the first floor. All rooms available for booking require stair access.
Yes, free parking is available on-site, directly behind the building, with one spot allocated per room. Additional public parking is located at the Prince George Parking Garage, just one block away.
We do not have EV charging stations on-site, but the Prince George Parking Garage, located one block away, offers two universal charging stations on the first level and two Tesla charging stations on the second level.
Yes, events can be hosted at Armistead House with prior approval from management. Event bookings require contracts and are subject to specific booking fees.
Yes, you can book all the rooms at Armistead House as a complete block. Please note that events must be separately approved by management.
For stays longer than three nights, we offer a mid-stay towel change upon request. Additional housekeeping services can be arranged if needed.
Smoking Policy
Armistead House is a smoke-free facility. Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the premises. A $700 fine will be charged to the card on file for any violations of this policy.
